First and foremost, I will start by establishing scriptures in the light of doctrine before I dive into the message the Lord delivered to me by his Angel. So that our faith be not on experiences but rather on the Word of the Lord which is written in the scriptures. Every supernatural experience we have is subject to the written scriptures. That is what makes every supernatural/prophetic word stand.
First scripture:
Psalms 119: 105 NIV
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
From the scriptures shown above, we see that the Word of God is a Lamp that produces light for progression.
Second scripture:
John 1: 1-5 NIV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.
So also the Apostle John talks about the Light being the Lord Jesus who is the Word that lights up everyone, the living Word. Revealing that the word that gives light, is the Living Word. And also how important the Word is, in getting anything done.
Third scripture:
1 Peter 1: 23 NIV
23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
The Apostle Peter also speaks about the Word being alive and enduring. And that the Living Word has the ability to act and accomplish tasks, revealing how the word was and is involved in the salvation of men. and that the salvation of men is based on the Truth(the reality) that it is a testimony/speaking of the Lord Jesus.
Now, what is the Living Word?
Let us hear what the Lord Jesus has to say about the matter:
Fourth scripture:
John 5: 37-40 NIV
37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
The Lord Jesus spoke to the people of his day concerning this matter because they thought just because they read the scriptures, they had access to the Life of it. Seeing that it was the life dimension of the scripture that enforces performance. The Lord Jesus gives a key in the statement that the approaching of him to seek life gives you access to the living Word seeing that scripture testifies of him.
And so every time we look at scripture, it should be to see the Lord and his ways. To find him in the letters written in the book. According to the Lord Jesus, that is what profits. That the letters kill, but the Spirit gives life. In other words, we approach the scripture irrespective of our questions to see where he stands on the matter. Everything we seek in scripture must have a tie to him. Whether it be matters of Love, Angels, purpose, direction, protection, prosperity, deliverance, salvation, multiplication, and more must be tied to him.
Having said the above, we will move on to the message which I received from the Angel of the Lord who happens to be a warring angel, who was dressed in the full armory with his wings spread out and with a very serious look saying: Tell the people to have with them their Light.
Fifth and sixth scripture:
Psalms 119:130 NIV
130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
Psalms 18:28 NIV
28 You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
The message that the Angel bore was that the people refill themselves with the living Word, and with them should be the living Word so that they might be able to use it as a lamp through the present darkness and coming darkness, an hour of warfare. For which the Angels of warfare were prepared and sent, to the people of Lord Jesus.
Seventh scripture:
Psalm 103: 20 NIV
20 Praise the Lord, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.
21 Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
The Angels of the Lord will only do what the word of the Lord saying, the Word referred to here is the Living Word; the word which is uttered. We access the uttered word of God when the Lord by his Spirit ignites the scriptures to us. Then, it has become a Living word, because he now speaking it to us by his spirit personally. When we believe the words and act on them of which speaking by decree is one amongst many. The Angels of the Lord move to perform the word of the Lord. The word spoken and acted upon at that moment becomes a guiding light to the Angels of the Lord. Because they move at the command of God’s spoken word.
Let’s also see what the Psalmist says about the decrees and proclamations he did, to establish the word of God through his speech.
Eighth scripture:
Psalm 2: 7-9 NIV
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.
8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron[b]; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.
We proclaim the word because it has been spoken to us by the Lord through his Spirit. Where the word, a scripture, becomes an emphasis in our hearts and burns within us. The two men on their way to Emmaus after the resurrection of Jesus from the grave told us how the word of the Lord feels within our hearts, as he spoke to them while they walked. Paraphrasing, they said, did our hearts not burn within us while he yet spoke to us? In other words, the spoken word from the Lord Jesus to us through scriptures burns within us because it is living, and there seems to be a life about it when we think about it or when we utter it.
There is a war, a darkness approaching dear beloved, and the people of God will only thrive by how much of the Word of the Lord is within them. The Angels of the Lord are being sent on assignments such as the one who was sent to me, to enforce the will of the Lord on the face of the earth, which God is proclaiming through his people.
Now, more than ever is there a demand and a need for the living word of God and so should the beloved of God set out the desire to seek after the living word of God.
